about the artist

My whole life I have had a camera in my hand.  I was that kid in middle school who was always taking pictures long before cell phone and selfies ever existed.  Although most of my photos back then were blurred and many heads were cut off, I kept on shooting.  Taking my  film to be developed was like getting a present for me every time. 

I mainly photograph people, sceneries and things that don't interact with me bore me.  I love photographing a groom's face when he first sees his bride, or catching that tear as it rolls down her father's cheek as he gives her away.  Those are the moments that count!

Being able to photograph a family over and over again is one of my greatest joys.  I love building relationships with families.  Taking pictures of their babies until one day I am taking pictures of that same child's senior picture or wedding are moments I don't take for granted. I love when my clients turn into my friends.
